Invitations to tender are expected to be dispatched late October 2012 for the £18 million Poppleton & Askam Park and Ride contract.
Works will commence March 2013 for City of York Council project and be carried out over a period of approximately 14 months.
The site for the proposal is situated on the A59/A1237 near Clifton Moor in York and the site will eventually cater for 1250 cars but will be built in 2 stages, with the first stage providing 600 spaces.
