Plans approved for £220m development

Outline plans have now been formally approved for the New Lubbesthorpe development in Leicestershire. The £220 million scheme for David Wilson Homes and Hallam Land Management will include 4,250 Houses & 6 Commercial Units. Faulks Perry Culley & Rech is the masterplanner.

Plans approved for leisure complex

Detailed plans have been approved for a £7.7m outdoor leisure complex to be known as Surf Snowdonia. The development will use Wavegarden technology to create ideal surfing waves in a purpose built outdoor lagoon, and will also include a wakeboard lake, water slide, lodges, restaurant, retail and play facilities over 18 hectares at a former aluminium factory site in Dolgarrog. The large scale regeneration project could be open by the summer of 2014.
