Detailed plans have been submitted to South Gloucestershire Council for the construction of a £29 million Police Station & Custody Centre to be built in Bristol. The contract has been funding through a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) with the Preferred bidder which is Blue light which includes Miller Construction, Cofely and Bilfinger Berger. The construction is for a two-storey Police Station with a floor area of 1,000 sqm and a two storey Custody Centre with a floor area of 3,000 sqm.
