Southampton council has approved plans for Hammerson’s £70m Watermark WestQuay mixed-use scheme in the city. The 88,500 sq m development will be delivered in two phases with the first phase comprising a leisure complex featuring a cinema, up to 15 restaurants and retail space. Proposals for the second phase include a residential tower, a hotel, flexible office space, restaurants and public space.
