Moulton College and University of Northampton has had plans approved for the construction of the Daventry University Technical College (UTC) at Ashby Road in Daventry.
The £10m scheme has been designed by Faulkner Browns and is due to start on site in the autumn 2012.
Shepherd Construction has been announced as the preferred bidder.
