Funding announced for £110m college works

The Skills Funding Agency is to contribute £110 million to fund the construction and refurbishment of Further Education Colleges. The funding is to be known as Enhanced Renewal Grant.

The College's are to contribute £302 million of their own funding toward the projects. Total funding amount is expected to be £412 million.

All the Colleges using this grant must have their projects completed by the 2014/15 academic term.
