Brighton & Hove City Council and University of Brighton has signed a new development agreement with Cathedral Group for the £100 million redevelopment of Circus Street. The scheme already has permission for a mix-use scheme but new plans are due to be drawn up with a planning application expected early 2013. A design competition is already in progress with the developer to appoint a new architect, an appointment is due to be made within 2 months.
