United Utilities has appointed Eric Wright Civil Engineering Ltd to carry out the Grane Valley Reservoir System Overflow Works.
The £3.9 million contract will involve the overflow and spillway facilities at both Ogden and Holden Wood reservoirs located at Grane Valley, north of Haslingden.
Works are due to start on site mid July 2012.
