Galliford Try order book rises to £3.2bn

Galliford Try has reported that the integration of Miller Construction is “substantially complete ahead of plan” in a trading update for the six months to 31 December 2014.

Costain completes legacy waste PFI build

Costain has completed all 46 facilities on the legacy Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority PFI contract awarded in 2007.

In a trading update, the contractor said all the facilities were now either fully complete or in the post-completion period, under which further work and plant modifications will be completed.

Wates education chief gets wider role

Wates has promoted Stephen Beechey to Group Strategy Director and Managing Director for Government Affairs.

The move will see Beechey move from his role as Managing Director for Education and Investment solutions to oversee Wates’ group-wide strategy.

He will also oversee group communications and corporate and government affairs.
