Google has submitted plans for its £650m UK headquarters in King's Cross to Camden Council.Work is due to start early in 2014, with completion scheduled to be completed by late 2016 through to 2017. Construction News revealed in March that Bam Construct had clinched the £300m contract for the project, fending off competition from Carillion, Skanska, and Balfour Beatty. Bam Construct is one of the three principal contractors for King’s Cross, alongside Carillion and Kier.
